De terugkeer van Emplate finds Generatie X on a quiet mission in Boston, only to be hunted down one by one by Emplate’s relentless agents. M returns to Xavier’s school alone, shaken and alone, realizing the entire team has vanished—captured by the returning threat.

In "Familierelaties," the secret of Emplate’s true identity shocks Generation X when they discover she’s the sister of one of their own—M. With the team scattered and Emplate’s allies closing in, M races across Xavier’s school, desperate to find a way to save them. Just as she’s overwhelmed by the gaseous Vincente, Bishop arrives with unexpected aid—and a weapon.

In "Jubilee's top tien," Jubilee finds herself trapped with most of Generation X, held by the menacing Emplate. With her powers flickering unpredictably, she dares him to feed on her, sparking a burst of explosive energy that frees her teammates. As Bishop rallies the group to fend off Emplate’s allies, the villain lingers to claim Penance—only to be abandoned when Penance turns on him, leaving Emplate stunned and wounded. The team is left reeling, realizing Synch has vanished, likely under Emplate’s control.
