Gen 13 Bootleg #13
In "The Trickster," Gen 13’s Grunge ventures into the desert after a mishap with Roxy and Caitlin, only to be bitten by a coyote and drawn into a surreal encounter with a cowboy and an Asian warrior in a forgotten ghost town. Mike Wieringo’s dynamic storytelling and art—penciled and inked by Wieringo and Case, with vibrant colors by Joe Chiodo and Martin Jimenez—bring a dreamlike intensity to the tale, while Rainmaker later offers a glimpse into Native American lore surrounding Coyote, the Trickster god. The cover by Mike Wieringo and Richard Case captures the story’s eerie, otherworldly tone.
