“The Castle of Doctor Monstro! Part 2”

In "The Castle of Doctor Monstro! Part 2," Gen 13 faces their most bizarre transformation yet as Dr. Monstreau's experiments turn the team into were-animals, leaving Fairchild trapped and vulnerable. With a sudden burst of strength, she breaks free and dismantles the rock monster Marvin, then rallies her teammates—aided unexpectedly by Lynch—to reclaim their humanity. The shocking reveal of Monstreau’s true identity delivers a twist that’s as surprising as it is delightfully absurd. Written by Walter Simonson and Aaron Lopresti, with art, inks, and colors by Aaron Lopresti, Joe Chiodo, and Martin Jimenez, and lettered by Lois Buhalis, the issue’s cover by Aaron Lopresti captures the chaos in bold, dynamic detail.

As a shackled and powerless Fairchild finds herself about to become a meal for the rock monster Marvin, Dr. Monstreau completes the transformation that is turning the rest of the Gen kids into were-animals. Fairchild is able to break her power dampening manacles and reduce Marvin to rubble. She returns to help her teammates free themselves from Monstreau's clutches with a little surprise help from Lynch. The kids return back to their human forms and Raggy unmasks Monstreau for a truly Scooby-Doo ending.
