This December 2009 WildStorm issue brings the "Teenage Wasteland" arc to a head with a cover by Mike Huddleston that's an absolute riot of chaotic energy — a massive brawling pile-up featuring Caitlin and her Gen 13 teammates throwing punches and energy blasts against a hulking orange bruiser, while a caped figure crackles with electricity above them and a towering skeletal creature looms over the whole explosive scene. A sword-wielding girl and a pink-energy-blasting figure join the fray in the background, making it clear this finale is pulling absolutely no punches. With the subtitle "End of the Road (Sorta. Kinda.)" teasing something delightfully unresolved, Scott Beatty and Huddleston wrap up twelve issues of mayhem with their tongues planted firmly in cheek.
