Gen 13 #32
Issue #32 of Gen 13 drops readers right into the chaos with a cover by Gary Frank and Cam Smith that crackles with kinetic energy — Caitlin Fairchild in her torn green-and-purple costume plants her feet amid a storm-ravaged landscape while a bare-armed opponent grabs her whip and shouts "Let go!", a flying cow, uprooted palms, and scattered debris completing the mayhem swirling around them. The title "Red Skies at Morning" hints at the atmospheric turbulence that Frank and Smith have rendered so vividly here. With Arcudi writing and Frank on interior art as well, this 1998 WildStorm entry looks like a thoroughly entertaining slice of superhero bedlam.
