Geiger #15 was written by Geoff Johns and drawn by Gary Frank with coloring by Brad Anderson — the same core team that has helmed every issue of the series since its 2021 debut as Johns and Frank's first creator-owned title at Image Comics. The issue grew directly from the groundwork Johns and Frank laid at the very outset of the ongoing series: Ashley Arden, The Glowing Woman, had been teased since the beginning of the Ghost Machine-era Geiger run and made her proper first appearance in the sell-out Geiger #10 (January 2025), with Johns stating publicly that the two creators had been "planning to introduce her since launching the ongoing Geiger series." Ghost Machine, the creator-owned collective Johns and Frank co-founded and announced at New York Comic Con in October 2023, publishes the series through Image Comics under a structure in which all founding creators jointly own their properties — a model the group has described as the first fully shared creator-owned universe in American comics.
