“Pig Pen Part 1: Muddy Waters”

In "Pig Pen Part 1: Muddy Waters," Gambit faces a haunting past when his old mentor Etienne’s rite of passage ends in tragedy, and the present brings a dangerous reunion with the Mengo brothers as he races to save Zoe and Shirow—only to be captured by the enigmatic figure known as the Pig. Written by Steve Skroce and Fabian Nicieza, with art by Skroce and Rob Hunter, this gripping chapter blends emotional weight with high-stakes tension, all rendered in bold colors by Shannon Blanchard and sharp lettering by Richard Starkings and Comicraft. The cover by Skroce and Hunter captures the moment’s grim intensity.
