Gabby Hyatt attempts to impress a young woman named Myrna by taking her for a demonstration drive of an expensive Aristocrat automobile, hoping to outshine his rival Dean who lacks a car. When a car dealer grants Gabby an extended test drive, Gabby enjoys a series of humorous misadventures, including attempting to play tennis with Myrna where his clumsiness causes chaos on the court. The story concludes with Gabby at an ice cream parlor, where he is tricked into working for the proprietor and ends up running the business, ultimately winning over the customers and impressing Myrna once more.
