G.I. Joe: Cobra #4
In G.I. Joe: Cobra #4 (2011), Major Bludd redefines Cobra’s mission with cold ambition, viewing the organization as a corporate enterprise. As he teams up with Serpentor and orchestrates a ruthless hijacking in Myanmar—eliminating drug growers with the help of his lieutenant, The Headman—his true agenda begins to take shape. Meanwhile, Steeler manipulates Breaker into a fatal confrontation, framing it as self-defense before reporting to Bludd under the alias Black-Out. Written by Mike Costa and illustrated by Antonio Fuso and Chee, with colors by Esther Sanz and letters by Shawn Lee, the issue’s cover by David Williams captures the tension in sharp, striking detail.
