G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #269
In "Snake Hunt Part 4," the stakes rise as Cobra traps Snake Eyes behind formidable defenses, preparing the Brainwave Scanner with sinister intent. With Zartan freeing Destro and the Baroness from Revanche, and the Oktober Guard infiltrating Springfield—possibly as androids—Joe Colton and Jane scramble to maintain surveillance, only to have their satellite destroyed. As Storm Shadow and the remaining ninjas pledge to mount a rescue, Snake Eyes’ father, Wade, arrives at Fort Wadsworth to lend his support. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Robert Atkins, with colors by J. Brown and letters by Neil Uyetake, this issue’s cover by Robert Atkins captures the tension in sharp, deliberate detail.
