Hawk now knows that Scarlett is communicating with Snake Eyes, who went rogue a year ago. Destro demonstrates his new device, the MASS, which teleports matter to the Baroness, using himself. Snake Eyes visits Mandrilobus, and helps Scarlett interrogate him about Cobra over the computer. Destro drops in on them, killing Mandrilobus. But the transport causes his structural integrity to fail, and he must be placed in a metal suit to survive. Scarlett is arrested for treason.
