Future State: Kara Zor-El, Superwoman #2

Part two of "Two Graves" drops Kara Zor-El into genuinely overwhelming odds — the cover by Paulina Ganucheau places Superwoman at the center of a breathtaking tableau, her heat vision blazing upward into the gaping, fang-lined maw of a massive serpentine creature while two more monstrous beasts loom from the lower corners, their red eyes glowing with menace. Kara's red cape streams behind her as she floats defiantly in the coils of the enormous creature, electric blue lightning crackling through the dark atmosphere around her. Bennett and Sauvage's Future State vision of Kara Zor-El continues to feel distinct and beautifully realized, and this cover alone makes a strong case for picking up the conclusion.
