Part of Marvel's MAX imprint, Fury #4 brings Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, and Jimmy Palmiotti's hard-edged take on Nick Fury to its midpoint with "See You and Raise." Bill Sienkiewicz's cover is all business — a heavy automatic rifle dominates the frame, held in a firm grip against a wash of deep purples and pinks that gives the image an almost hallucinatory intensity. The Parental Advisory label is well-earned, and this 2002 issue makes no apologies for the uncompromising territory the series is staking out.
