“Superdodo Rides Again”

DC's long-running humor anthology returns with issue #63, featuring the Dodo and the Frog in a wonderfully silly cover by Otto Feuer. The pair are sneaking under a ballpark fence — the Dodo grinning with gleeful mischief while the Frog gets his top hat knocked clean off by a flying baseball — as a speech bubble cheerfully asks, "Isn't this a swell way to get into the ballpark, Fenimore?" It's a charming snapshot of the lighthearted, gag-driven fun that made Funny Stuff a staple of 1951 DC Comics.
