Funny Stuff #55
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFifty-two pages of DC's animal-comedy charm arrive in this July/Aug 1950 installment of Funny Stuff, featuring the Dodo and the Frog. Otto Feuer's cover art delivers the gag with perfect timing: a smug Frog taps his foot while a sheepish Dodo — apparently called Fenimore — discovers he sat on something a little more than just a hat, complete with a starburst of impact lines and a speech bubble that practically begs to be read aloud. It's the kind of warm, slapstick setup that made DC's funny-animal books a genuine delight in 1950.
