The Freex & Contrary journey to the Caves in order to find "The Savior". As usual, Contrary has her own plans. The Freex are rejoined by Pressure, Cayman & Boom Boy. Contrary goes her own way & discovers more ancient technology. A.J. becomes suspicious of Contrary's true motives, orders the group to stay behind, then finds Contrary. They battle. Contrary defeats A.J. using a crown similar to his own, & the feedback from the battle disables the other Freex's crowns. Contrary flies A.J. to her headquarters to get him first aid, while the other Freex find yet another mysterious door in the caves.
