Freddy #47

Freddy #47 is an anthology issue containing at least two stories. In "The Matinee Idol," Freddy grows a mustache that he believes makes him irresistible to girls, and takes a date to a movie theater showing a Rudolf Schmidt film. In a separate story titled "Don't Drop Dishes," Jimmy Gargan, president of his school council, struggles to raise funds for the football team's uniforms and equipment, with friend Fred Burney suggesting they plant a money tree as a solution.
