This anthology issue contains at least two Freddy stories. "Bargain Buck Daze" follows Freddy and Puff as they wake early to attend a bargain sale at Pete's Department Store, where Freddy becomes enthusiastic about economizing on life's necessities. "The Green-Eyed Monster" features Freddy dealing with jealousy when his social secretary informs him his calendar is not full on Friday night, leading him to attempt to secure a date to a gala with a girl named Peggy, though complications arise when another character named Gorgus seems interested in the same girl.
