Three massive, menacing figures dominate Andy Kuhn's cover for this 1997 Image series: a grey, shark-toothed brawler in stars-and-stripes shorts lunges forward, flanked by a hulking blue brute with spiked knuckles and a mechanical-looking armored villain in red bristling with tubes and spikes. It's a striking lineup of heavy-hitters that sets a confidently aggressive tone for the book. Writers Erik Larsen and Eric Stephenson clearly had no shortage of muscle to throw around in the Freak Force universe.
