Frankenstein's Monster dominates the foreground of this brooding Dark Horse cover, trailing wires as an eerie crowd of supernatural figures — skeletal forms, decayed creatures, and a glowing skull beneath a glass dome — looms behind him in the darkness. Mike Mignola's cover art channels that signature blend of folklore and shadow that made the Hellboy universe so compelling, and Dave Stewart's muted, atmospheric colors give the whole image a deep subterranean dread.
