Based on George McManus's beloved "Bringing Up Father" comic strip, this 1941 Dell offering gives the irrepressible Jiggs his own 68-page full-color showcase. The cover captures him hilariously tangled in leash lines as two determined dogs — a lean black pup and a scrappy little bulldog — pull him in opposite directions, his top hat askew and cane flying. Portrait medallions of Maggie, Jiggs, and Nora along the left side round out the gang, making this a delightful slice of one of America's most beloved domestic comedy strips.
