# Forbidden Worlds #54 The cover story features "Voodoo and Dr. James," in which a man encounters a supernatural doll and desperately pleads not to be forced into it, fearing death. A subsequent story involves a sorcerer who uses a transference spell to inhabit a young body, then abandons his old body in a mansion on the street; the rejuvenated villain is apprehended by police after attempting to rob banks with stolen money, and is ultimately sentenced to life imprisonment. Another tale follows explorers who discover a mysterious island with exotic flora and fauna, including strange spherical objects and unusual plant life with no animal life present, prompting wonder about whether they've discovered a new world and what lies further inland.
