The second album in Willem Ritstier's charming Dutch series finds young Flip quite literally lifted off her feet by an enormous pink bubblegum bubble, floating high above a cozy little town while a small white dog watches from the hillside below. The subtitle Op naar de top! — "To the top!" — perfectly captures the gleeful, gravity-defying energy Ritstier brings to his clean, expressive linework.
