“One Perfect Gift”

Two Flashes racing side by side through a snow-swept cityscape make for a genuinely festive February 1993 cover — Wally West in his streamlined red-and-gold suit leads the charge while Jay Garrick, the original Scarlet Speedster, keeps pace in his classic red shirt, blue jeans, and winged helmet. Greg LaRocque and Roy Richardson capture both generations of speed beautifully, and the "Dashing Through the Snow!" tagline gives the whole thing a warm, holiday-tinged energy. Mark Waid's "One Perfect Gift" promises exactly the kind of heartfelt speedster story that made his run on this title something special.
