Firestorm the Nuclear Man #82
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis February 1989 DC issue puts Firestorm center stage in his red-and-yellow costume, his signature nuclear flame blazing dramatically behind him as he stands rigid with what appears to be intense strain or pain. Flanking the Nuclear Man are two distressed civilians — a wide-eyed, horrified woman in the foreground and a slumped figure in the background — set against a moody cityscape that gives the whole scene an urgent, unsettling atmosphere. Tom Grindberg's cover art carries a raw, kinetic energy that makes "Back to Campus" feel like a genuinely compelling chapter in this John Ostrander-era run.
