Firestorm the Nuclear Man #70
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFirestorm looks utterly overwhelmed on this April 1988 cover, tumbling through a swirling vortex surrounded by every kind of timepiece imaginable — grandfather clocks, pocket watches, wristwatches, hourglasses, alarm clocks, and digital displays all spinning around the Nuclear Man as he reaches out with both hands. The story title "Time-Wrecked" sets the tone perfectly, and the cover art by Joe Brozowski and Sam de la Rosa captures a real sense of disorientation and urgency. John Ostrander, J. J. Birch, and the rest of the creative team were clearly having fun with Firestorm's world in this era of DC storytelling.
