This 2019 entry in BOOM! Studios' Firefly series delivers a genuinely unsettling cover by Lee Garbett — a one-eyed woman in a long coat strides forward cradling a heavy weapon, flanked by a grim man in a duster and trailed by a crowd of shadowy, glowing-eyed figures that fill the darkness behind them. The red-washed lighting and eerie masked silhouettes give the whole image a menacing, almost cult-like weight that feels right at home in Joss Whedon's 'verse. Greg Pak and artists Dan McDaid, Vincenzo Federici, and Marcelo Costa are doing something bold with this corner of the 'verse, and this cover alone makes a strong case for picking up issue #6.
