From the creative team behind Stray Dogs, Feral #14 brings its unsettling blend of cute and creepy to a pet store setting — stacks of dog food bags loom like a makeshift fortress while two kittens perch cautiously atop them and a third noses around below, all bathed in the eerie glow of red eyes lurking in the shadowy shelves behind them. The contrast between the wide-eyed innocence of those little cats and the menacing presences watching from the darkness is exactly the kind of tension this series does so well.
