From the rooftops of a dangerous city night, Morbius the Living Vampire swoops menacingly toward a determined man — Simon Stroud, gun leveled and warning the creature to stay back — while a woman clings to Stroud's side in the tense standoff. The cover copy promises "Nightkill!" and announces that the man who once hunted Man-Wolf now sets his sights on the Living Vampire, setting up a thrilling cat-and-mouse dynamic. Gil Kane's pencils and Frank Giacoia's inks give the whole scene terrific kinetic energy, making this 1975 issue of Adventure into Fear a vivid showcase for Morbius at his most predatory.
