Fantastic Four Annual #19
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis double-sized 1985 annual promises an all-out cosmic brawl, promising nothing less than "The War to End All Skrulls!" — and the cover by Kerry Gammill and Joe Sinnott delivers on that scale with a chaotic, beautifully composed clash featuring She-Hulk and the Human Torch at the forefront, alongside Captain America, a silver-haired figure in white, and a sprawling crowd of combatants tumbling across what appears to be a massive alien structure. The Avengers guest-star alongside the FF, and the sheer density of heroes — and apparent Skrull enemies — crammed into every corner of this image makes it clear that writer and artist John Byrne, inked by Joe Sinnott, had something genuinely epic in mind for the interior. If you enjoy Marvel's 1985 era of grand, team-up spectacle, this annual is a satisfying artifact of the form.
