Fantastic Four #6
This 2014 tie-in to Marvel's "Original Sin" event puts the Fantastic Four squarely in the line of fire, and Leonard Kirk's cover makes the stakes impossible to ignore — a battered, bloodied Sue Storm lies limp in the grasp of a grimacing, battle-worn Thing, rubble and fire erupting around them. The raw intensity between these two teammates carries a genuine emotional weight, hinting at a story where the FF's bonds are pushed to their breaking point. With James Robinson writing and a strong artistic team including Dean Haspiel and Karl Kesel, this is a compelling chapter for any fan of Marvel's first family.
