“Heart's Choice!”

In "Heart's Choice!", Tim finds himself captivated by a mysterious girl on a secluded beach, her image etched in his mind after he spots her from above. As he searches for her again and again, fleeting moments and a cryptic message in the sand—“Alan I love you Gaby”—hint at a connection he can’t quite grasp. The story unfolds with quiet longing, as Tim watches from afar, drawn to a romance that may not be what it seems. Art by Arthur Peddy, inks by Bernard Sachs, and lettering by Ira Schnapp bring the emotional pull to life, while Tony Abruzzo’s cover captures the moment of first sight.

Tim looks down from the rocks above to see a beautiful girl lying on the beach. He is immediately smitten with her, but with no direct way down he has to go around. By the time he arrives on the beach, she is gone, but he sees "Alan I love you Gaby" written in the sand. He continually returns and eventually sees her again, but she is with Alan. However, the next day he sees Alan at the beach with a different girl.
