Faithless #6

Maria Llovet's cover art for this sixth and final issue of Faithless is a moody, sensual tableau — a flower-crowned young woman held between a dark, intense man and a blue-haired figure whose blood-red hands add an unsettling edge to the composition. Surrounded by thorns and blooming poppies, the image captures perfectly the series' self-described blend of faith, sex, and the devil "in the tradition of the divine comedy." Brian Azzarello and Llovet close out their BOOM! Studios collaboration with a cover that lingers long after you set it down.
