Fairest #22

From Vertigo's Fairest series, issue #22 (March 2014) brings Marc Andreyko and Shawn McManus together for "Of Men and Mice, Part Two: Memories." Adam Hughes's cover says everything without saying a word — three small mice clamber purposefully over a drawn pistol held in a woman's steady hand, an image that's quietly unsettling and strangely tender at the same time. It's the kind of cover that makes you want to know exactly what's going on inside, which is the whole point.
