“Deja Vu”

A dimension-hopping team charges forward on Dave Bullock and Mark Irwin's kinetic cover, showcasing a lineup that includes a black-costumed figure with gleaming energy claws, a pink-haired warrior with glowing purple blades, a green-clad fighter, a man hurling fire, and a powerful red-costumed woman radiating a starburst of energy overhead — with a hulking grey creature looming behind them all. This 2009 Marvel trade collecting the "Deja Vu" storyline brings Jeff Parker's writing together with Salva Espín's interior art, promising the kind of reality-bending adventure the Exiles do best. If you're looking for a team book that revels in the infinite possibilities of the Marvel multiverse, this is a compelling place to jump in.

The Exiles stir up a little jealousy between Jean and Emma which starts a mutant war that saves the world. Before teleporting to their next mission, the team knocks out Blink and explores the Crystal Palace to find out what is really going on. They run into members of the original Exiles and learn that Blink was part of that team as well (and not the novice she is pretending to be). Kang confronts everyone and tells them that she is responsible for the entire Exile program. Realizing that returning home would do more harm than good, the Exiles agree to continue as a team and repair realities.
