Exiles #76
The "2099 World Tour" comes to a close in this 2006 Marvel series entry, and Jim Calafiore's cover makes the stakes feel suitably massive — a dense crowd of alternate-reality heroes and villains pressed together in tense confrontation, including a white-masked figure in yellow and gold at the foreground, a hulking Thing-like creature, a broad-shouldered bruiser in white, a glowing skeletal figure wielding a sword, and several others radiating barely-contained conflict. Tony Bedard's script wraps up the tour arc with this final chapter, and the sheer number of characters Calafiore packs onto this cover suggests the conclusion earns its "World Tour" billing.
