Billy and Uncle Dan track down a group of criminals near a river, engaging in gunfire and capturing the outlaws. A subplot involves a young woman named Janet whose aunt, Madame Zubar, schemes with accomplices to exploit Janet's inheritance and family treasures for personal gain, though Tim (presumably Billy West's real identity or associate) works to protect her from the scam.
A mysterious tenderfoot named Dude Johnson arrives in Lone Creek, Wyoming, armed with fists that pack an astonishing punch—harder than anything Billy West has ever felt—and soon the whole town is buzzing about this strange newcomer. When a masked bandit begins terrorizing the territory and kidnaps Molly Sage, both Billy and the Dude set out on the trail, but Billy discovers something troubling: brass knuckles hidden in the Dude's pocket, and a reason to suspect the flashy stranger isn't quite what he seems. Danger escalates when Billy and the Dude find themselves face-to-face with the bandit gang, and the truth about Dude Johnson's real motives emerges.
When kindly trader "Pop" Gardner brings modern toys to remote jungle villages, he becomes a legend among the children—but two ruthless crooks see an opportunity to use his spotless reputation to smuggle stolen diamonds past customs officials. Judy of the Jungle must race against time and nature to expose Transom and Bedlow's scheme before they silence Pop Gardner forever, battling everything from enraged wildlife to the treacherous river itself to save the man the village children call the King of the Toys.
When Speedy Hopper runs for mayor of Hilltop High in a student-run city election, he's confident—until his girl Ginger Sparks switches her support to the smooth-talking Sylvester Snead, and even his best pal Dud abandons him for the rival campaign. After losing the election and getting stuck with the job of Chief Garbage Collector instead, Speedy throws himself into the work with unexpected results. Written by uncredited creators, this 1949 humor tale follows a scrappy teen discovering that sometimes the job nobody wants leads to exactly the kind of recognition that matters.
When Tim Mason's friend Janet is forced by her guardian Madame Zubar to abandon school and help run a spiritualist con game that preys on grieving families, the Kid Terror springs into action to expose the fraud and free her from the woman's grip. Donning his costume while Bob Benton is away at a convention, Tim infiltrates Madame Zubar's séance by posing as a desperate client—one with a very specific and urgent request. What unfolds is a clash of wits and quick thinking as the Kid Terror turns the tables on the scheming medium and her accomplice, with Janet caught in the middle of the danger.
In the dawn of human civilization, a hungry tribe faces an impossible choice: venture across a river they've never crossed to find food on the far side. What begins as a desperate leader's bold experiment with a simple log becomes a series of ingenious innovations—hollow boats, oars, and finally a sturdy raft—each invention born from necessity and the courage to challenge the unknown waters. As the tribe discovers the wind's power to aid their journey, they glimpse a wider world waiting to be explored beyond their homeland.
