This fourth and final chapter of Dark Horse's Evil Dead adaptation brings Mark Verheiden and John Bolton's vision of Sam Raimi's horror world to a close. John Bolton's cover painting is genuinely unsettling — a battered, bloodied figure looms over a grotesque, glassy-eyed deadite, shotgun in hand, the tension between hunter and horror rendered in cold, atmospheric oils. A fittingly grim sendoff to this four-issue series.
