Everything's Archie #155

Part of Archie Comics' 50th Anniversary celebration, Everything's Archie #155 arrives with a cover by Dan DeCarlo that perfectly captures the series' cheerful chaos: a snooty waiter dumps a tray of food on poor Archie's head while a disapproving maître d' looks on, as Veronica calmly peruses the menu and the rest of the Riverdale gang watches from the background with a speech bubble asking, "Isn't this the place where Archie forgot to leave the tip?" It's a wonderfully timed snapshot of Archie's perpetual bad luck, rendered with DeCarlo's signature warmth and comic timing. This 1991 issue also spotlights Joe Edwards as "Artist of the Month" in the Archie Salutes corner box — a nice touch that makes it feel like a little community celebration tucked inside one fun package.
