Everything's Archie #130
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe Archies are taking their act on a very different kind of stage in this cheerful 1987 installment — Dan DeCarlo's cover shows the gang performing right on a merry-go-round, with Archie, Betty, and their bandmates playing instruments atop colorful carousel horses while a crew member films and another mans the soundboard below. Speech bubbles tease a rock video shoot that promises to prove "the Archies really get around," and the whole scene buzzes with that irresistible blend of music and amusement-park fun the series does so well. It's a wonderfully inventive setup that makes this issue hard to pass up.
