While pledged to watch over Dr. Calvin until she is healed Ka-Zar finds himself stuck in the city. He rescues a pusher from an attack and ends up involved in a turf war. When The Pusher attempts to kidnap Dr. Calvin he stops him and his men but Dr. Calvin has a relapse. Later it turns out that one of the men he took to the police is Dr. Calvin's son. Then, Ka-Zar defeats The Pusher and helps to save Vinnie's life. Dr. Calvin wakes up and is relieved to find out that her son is with her and is a hero.
