Red s'est transformé en homme-poisson et a nagé en pirates, puis s'est effondré, se réveillant enchaîné. Pike l'avait exposé sous le nom de «Le Seigneur de l'océan», où il s'était lié d'amitié avec Tiana. Pike a persuadé Red de devenir Seekeenakee et a récupéré Tiana. Red s'est transformé en «dieu vivant», mais la fille a regretté d'avoir trahi les dieux et est tombée à sa mort apparente, provoquant la guerre de Red en tant que Seekeenakee.
