The Challengers land on the Pacific’s Vaniki Island because its king has been out of touch. Islanders in war canoes “greet” them with machine guns and knockout-gas leis. The Challs are dumped down a sacrificial well. Prof blocks the exit with rocks and they float free. Prof tricks the Stone God into believing his island will be atom-bombed. Seekeenakee dashes home to protect his base. The Challs battle guards, saddle up, and air-drop a huge bomb down the stone god’s throat.
