About this Collection

This massive black-and-white trade paperback collects the Silver Surfer's earliest solo adventures, including his first self-titled 1968 series and his appearances in classic Marvel titles from the late 1960s and early 1970s. It features the cosmic storytelling of Stan Lee and John Buscema, chronicling Norrin Radd's exile on Earth and his philosophical battles against both earthly and cosmic threats. As part of Marvel's Essential line, this volume presents the material in a budget-friendly, complete-collection format without color.
