Enigma #6
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeIssue six of DC/Vertigo's eight-part Enigma series arrives in August 1993 with a Duncan Fegredo cover that perfectly captures the series' unsettling, dreamlike atmosphere. A hunched, anguished figure dominates the upper half, rendered in deep purples and reds, while a serpentine red border — lined with jagged teeth — frames a stark inset image of a shadowy, wide-brimmed hat and a single piercing eye, captioned "the end of the world." Peter Milligan's writing and Sherilyn Van Valkenburgh's rich, moody colors make this one of Vertigo's most visually distinctive limited series of its era.
