Quoi explains to the captive Avengers why the Cotati are compelled to destroy both the Kree and the Skrulls, but they escape from his clutches and return to Earth to help fight the plant life that's running wild under Cotati influence. Captain Marvel travels to meet up with the Emperor and the Fantastic Four, and she is enlisted to join the Kree Accuser Corps, taking up the Universal Weapon of the late Ronan the Accuser.
