Part five of seven in the "Questionable Things" arc, this 2010 Image Comics installment puts the "Unleashed" in Elephantmen Unleashed — the cover by Steve Skroce depicts a massive hippo-human hybrid, jaws stretched wide in a ferocious roar, tearing through a swarm of armored soldiers who grapple at him from every angle. The raw power on display is genuinely hard to look away from, with Skroce's linework capturing both the chaos of the brawl and the sheer physicality of the Elephantman at its center. With Richard Starkings writing and Axel Medellin on interior art, this is the kind of mid-arc escalation that makes you want the next issue immediately.
