Elektra #10

Michael Del Mundo's minimalist cover for Elektra #10 says everything with almost nothing — a crimson-clad figure streaking through white space, sai extended, aimed directly at a looming spiral target that dominates the right side of the image. The stark contrast between the vast emptiness and that closing bullseye creates an almost hypnotic tension. It's a striking 2015 entry in this series, proof that Del Mundo's painterly sensibility can make even negative space feel charged with intent.
