Elektra #1
This collection kicks off Elektra's 2014 solo series, following the deadly assassin as she navigates a shadowy conspiracy tied to her family's bloody legacy. Writer W. Haden Blackman and artist Mike Del Mundo pit Elektra against familiar foes like Bullseye and the Kingpin while introducing new threats like Bloody Lips, all while exploring her fractured past with the Hand and her father Orestez Natchios. The volume collects issues #1-5 of the series, setting the stage for a brutal, visually striking run that redefines the character's place in Marvel's underworld.
In "Bloodlines: Part One," Elektra faces off against Cape Crow in a brutal snowy clash, then confronts the terrifying Bloody Lips, whose mind shatters under the weight of her stolen memories. With her mission to protect Kento and his father now clear, Elektra steps into the shadow war against the Assassins Guild—while Lady Bullseye, wounded but unbroken, vows revenge. Written by W. Haden Blackman and brought to life by Michael Del Mundo’s striking art and Marco D’Alfonso’s vivid colors, this issue marks a pivotal moment in Elektra’s journey. The cover, by Michael Del Mundo, captures the intensity of her resolve.
