Mientras Los Vengadores se reúnen en la mansión, el Fantasma del espacio llega a la Tierra. De esta manera se adentra en la mansión y la Mole se adelanta para investigar y Fantasma ocupa su lugar. Así, el alienígena aprovecha para sembrar la discordia. Entonces, el Fantasma abandona la mansión y se encuentra con Rick Jones. Tras esto, el Fantasma se dedica a sabotear Industrias Stark, lo que provoca un nuevo enfrentamiento con los Vengadores. Al intentar tomar el lugar de Thor, el Fantasma acaba yendo al Limbo. La Mole decide abandonar el grupo.
